School Air Quality

About This Project

A Squirrel Hill elementary school reported concerns about indoor air quality after several staff members experienced respiratory issues. Pure Air Nation was brought in to conduct comprehensive air quality testing and inspection of the HVAC system.

Our Approach

We performed multi-point air sampling throughout the building, inspected all HVAC ductwork, and checked common problem areas including the basement, utility rooms, and areas near exterior walls.

• Detailed report with actionable recommendations

Results

Testing revealed elevated spore counts near the HVAC system. After duct cleaning and targeted remediation, follow-up testing confirmed air quality met all safety standards for an educational environment.
