Attic Mold Remediation - Ridge Vent Repair

About This Project

Attic mold starting down low and slowly creeping up toward the ridge. Upon inspection, the ridge vent was tar papered over (not open), and there were no soffit or gable vents present — creating zero airflow and ideal conditions for mold growth across the attic sheathing.

Our Approach

Pure Air Nation set up full containment in the hallway to isolate the attic access point, then placed air scrubbers in the attic space to maintain negative pressure and capture airborne spores throughout the process.

Results

The job took 2 days to complete. By treating the mold in place, we saved the customer thousands of dollars compared to the alternative — re-decking the entire roof, which would have required a total roof system replacement costing $20,000+.
